Does anyone else think this is a good idea:
In the LBN forum, any thread that is extremely popular (receives a vastly greater number of views than any others) gets pinned. Then, when there are updates in the news story, they can be added to the thread so we can actually have an online log of important stories and how it developed.
It would help me follow a story and would make it easier to recall it in its entirety later on.
Just an idea, any thoughts?

For the news forum, especially, in makes sense. It would help eliminate duplicate threads and duplicate messages about duplicate threads.
