Perhaps we should give the Congressman a link to DU's discussion about the Post's story: "I hadn't seen much discussion here about today's Washington Post article about the hearing."

First, I wanted to thank the DailyKos community for all of your work on the Downing Street Minutes issue. Yesterday was the direct result of your efforts and I hope you were proud. For more on my reaction to yesterday, visit my blog. I expect to announce some next steps in the coming days and you will be the first to know about them.

Second, unless I missed it, I hadn't seen much discussion here about today's Washington Post article about the hearing. I am very disappointed that this ridiculous article was the Post's only coverage of yesterday's events. Today, I wrote a letter to the Post outlining my objections to the piece, which I have attached below. If you share my views, I would suggest letting the Post know about it.

message board that is comprised of "made up named" posters.

It is not the recognition I care about, IT IS THE RESULTS OF OUR EFFORTS!

Report from Symbolman at the Hearing and Rally!
Just heard from Symbolman - it was wild scene at the hearing. First off, the DNC people he was supposed to meet with left early without him, so he dashed over to the Capitol. And as you'd guess, he was greeted with "You can't come in here."

So John Conyers comes out of the room, and Sym approaches him and says, "I flew 6,000 miles from Hawaii to film this for the blogosphere so folks at the Democratic Underground, Afterdowningstreet.com, Buzzflash, Bartcop, Whatreallyhappened and others could see the hearings and rally, and I don't want to disappoint them."

Mr. Conyers promptly escorted him over to his assistant who let him into the room to film.

So when I talked to Sym, he was on his way over to the rally. More news to follow later...
