But I have a question.. why would you start a thread like this?

Honestly, what is the purpose? You already know 99% of the people here are going to agree with you (me included), so why?

To try to rally the troops?
To start a thread of "Yeahs" and "If we could only get the MSM to notice" etc?

Note: There isn't a problem with what you said, its just I would like to know why you would start a thread of this nature? Especially when there are so many, and also when you know a majority are going to agree with you.

Breaking the silence about impeachment is fine. But at DU you are hardly breaking any silence.

Maybe I am being too negative. But still just because I wondered why a person would start a thread that has been rehashed a million times I'm sure, that makes inactivity a virtue for me? I guess I just wasn't aware stating the obvious was being "active."

BTW, what is BFEE? I'm not exactly up on all the lingo around here.

terrible for you. Especially not being able to tell a Freeper from a rational person.

Yeah, I'm sorry that I don't know what BFEE means. I apologize for not keeping up with that sort of thing. I'm very happy that you are ready and willing to exercise your first amendment rights. That appears to be what most people do here on DU, and a lot of message boards on the internet. So good going with that one, champ.

Instead of rehashing something that has been stated so many times with such excitement to no avail, how about using some creative juices to come up with something orginal? Maybe that should be your next step in your journey of first amendment expression?

"a million times before", then, more than my worry that the discussion board might dry up, I would wonder what the new DUers joining us daily would read?

14. Not going to happen while Republicans control Congress.

If there were any sanity, impeachment proceedings would've started once it became clear that Bush lied about the intelligence that supposedly justified invading Iraq. I don't see it happening until 2007, and only THEN if the 2006 midterm elections result in Democratic control of the House.

I, for one, was not aware of this rally and this is a very useful post for me. I live in the Bay Area and a trip to Washington DC takes some lead time to plan for. S/he is not just preaching to the converted, but also informing us and helping us organize.

Even if there is a Republican-controlled Congress at the moment, we can still show the world that many Americans disagree with our government's policies. We can be the swell in the water that becomes a crashing wave and washes the scum out of the White House.

Posts like this are very effective and helpful!!
