Surrey RCMP say a domestic dispute has ended with the death of a 41-year-old man, after he was shot with a Taser gun.

Police say they had received a call that screaming was coming from a home, and that the caller was concerned about the safety of the family.

Spokesperson Const. Marc Searle says when the officers arrived, they were confronted by the man who was highly agitated and combative.

The man was then shot with Taser.

was the source of the mans death. Tell me, why was he so combative and hostile? There will be more information which shall no doubt clarify this issue and identify the cause of death.

8. also, how do the police know this man even committed a crime?

you call him a "criminal", yet the police didn't witness the act, they weren't there, and he has a right to a fair trial. if the police saw the act, it might be a bit different, but it's irrelevant in any event as this is about taser, and the fact that it is not "non-lethal" force as advertised.

You are justifying the indiscriminate use of deadly force, even when such force was not the intention of the law enforcement officer.

All they wanted to do was subdue the man, if they had intended to kill him they would have used their gun.

Eventually, there will be a serious reevaluation of the classification and use of tasers. By then the list of wrongful death lawsuits will be staggering.
