If so, how much will Bu$h gain in the polls? I say he will keep his head above water and reach over 50%.

He got a jump in his #'s then. If anything, his gain will be larger, because it was an English speaking country that was hit. And as far as average citizen apathy, I wouldn't count on it; Bush will invoke this incident again, and again, and again...it will soon become a part of the official Right party line.
