New Zogby Bush at 50%, re-elect #'s 43% (Generic Dem beats Bush)

I never put much stock in Zogby's last poll that had Bush at 45%, because it didnt jive with the other polls. This poll is more aligned with all the recent polls that has Bush between 47-52% range. Bush's re-elect at 43% which is basically his base. Bush loses to generic Dem 45%-41%.

6. Zogby was the closest poll in 2000

Zogby is generally more accurate than most polls.

Josh Marshall has a great take on Bush's current poll numbers. While they're not terminally bad yet, they're heading in that direction.
