| My question for Scott McClellan |
|
You've stated that you questioned Rove and Libby and were assured they had nothing to do with this. Who lied, you or them?

| 1. What did they know and.... |
|
Why did they know it?
What the hell are they doing talking about it in the first place? What was their purpose in discussing Wilson's wife or anyones wife for that matter?

I love it. He wouldn't answer it, but the damage would already be done with the question. Anyone who heard it would know that someone lied.

| 6. Bush’s Qualifier Updated Again Today 07-19--05 |
|
In September 2003, the White House had said anyone who leaked classified information in the case would be dismissed. Bush reiterated that promise last June, saying he would fire anyone found to have disclosed the CIA officer's name.
Yesterday July 18 Bush changed it to "if someone committed a crime" he would be fired.
Today July 19, Bush again changed it. Now, the person must NOT have been wearing a Tiara while dressed in a Pink Leotard while they did it.

When it's discovered that Rove was, indeed, wearing a tiara and pink leotard, Bush will say, "I'd call that more of a crown, than a tiara."

Isn't that a pretty low standard for working in the Bush administration? Just don't get convicted of a crime or you will be fired. The American people deserve better than that.

Seems to me that what Bush is saying is that his minions have to pay close attention to laws so that their sleazy, dirty tricks don't cross the line into breaking a law. Got a creepy idea? Go for it, but check the law first. It's fine to go right up to the edge, but don't cross the line.
Disgusting.

Just play the legal card and run the clock out. Simple, no?
