Great Idea: Arlington South (Crawford) Protest

Arlington South (Crawford)

Veterans for Peace does an amazing job with 'Arlington West', a memorial of 1,XXX+ white crosses each with a fallen soldier's name on it. They typically plant these crosses in the sand each weekend on the west coast. I saw a special edition outside Camp Pendleton in February that really put it all into perspective.

Let's establish Arlington South outside Bush's vacation house in Crawford. Would be great to tie this in with Cindy's amazing efforts currently underway, but even if not we should surround Bush with reminders of the consequences of his actions.

It will take a little effort to make 2K crosses and transport them to Crawford, but this effort would provide very high issue visibility. We could replicate this in DC on 9/24.
