Behold the fruits of the Bush administration: 1. 2000 election fraud 2. 9/11 3. USA PATRIOT Act 4. 2004 election fraud 5. Iraq 6. Plamegate 7. rapid decline of the US into poverty 8. Guantanamo/Abu Ghraib/Bagram/etc. 9. racist/etc. Hurricane Katrina catastrophe
LIHOP/MIHOP on whatever issue, any one of these would have been far beyond unconscionable. The sum total of them is an outrage so unspeakably intolerable there are no words to describe it.
Even if we must wait until a far-off, distant year (at which time I'll surely be dead), we must never forget or ever forgive any of this. We dare not forgive these crimes. We dare not forget these crimes. They must be brought to justice like Pinochet, Klaus Barbie, etc. We must all become Simon Wiesenthals once they are finally removed from office.

| 1. The list is like a punch in the face. |

But this indifference is too much to bear. I am in tears because of the people left to die in NO. It's a national disgrace. I don't see how Bush can remain in office after this. Not after this.

| 5. We've largely been set up for IMF/World Bank -style extortion. |

All this "privatization" and "free trade" bunk smacks of IMF austerity measures as well.

| 6. Bush admin a larger disaster than Katrina and 9/11 |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 03:11 AM by MikeNY
All that has come out of this administration is absolute gross misconduct and negligence. Soaring gas prices, thousands of U.S. citizens killed in war and in domestic catastrophe. Worst recession in U.S. history. This guy is more unpopular than Nixon during Watergate and he is still in office...
The scary part is that it CAN get much worse than this.

| 9. You are right. It can get worse. But here is the more important question: |
|
Can it get BETTER?
Can the American people begin to regain control of their own destiny? Are they willing to take that risk? Are they willing to face the consequences IF THEY DO NOT?
