Check out this story from yesterday, in which Arnold finally admits to the meeting, but then lies about the number of attendees! http://newsreview.com/issues/sacto/2003-10-02/essay.asp

The website has it where you can click and listen. But before you can listen, it asks you to sign up with your email address, gender and zip code. And you also have to download something. It takes a few minutes before you can listen.
I'm glad I did. This guy is great. Of course, I say that because he's on my side.

| 8. US Newswire has picked up the Enron email story, and not from Palast. |
|
This is coming from the Foundation for Taxpayer and Consumer Rights: http://releases.usnewswire.com/printing.asp?id=144-10032003

| 11. Haha! This Bernie Ward guy is hilarious! |
|
He shouts at all of his callers, well at least the right wingy ones. I loved his response to the idiot that called and was whining about the timing of the women accusing Arnold. He had the nerve to bring up Juanita Broderick. Yeesh!

| 17. Ward made a good point which I wish would sink in to more people's heads |
|
generally. He said that Enron and a few other corporations stood to lose 9 Billion of Bustamante's suits proceeded without the Governor settling for pennies on the dollar. He asked his audience, 'what do you think a corporation would do to save 9 Billion dollars?" Just about anything, right? You think they wouldn't run a recall fraud? Think again.
