| Is Novak now in violation of the Identities Protection Act? |
|
I remember Corn, in his initial article, noted that journalists are exempt from outing an agent if they do not show a pattern of behavior which includes this outing.
So, when does something become a pattern of behavior?
Back in July he outed Ms Plame.
As of yesterday, from what I've read on this forum, he went on to out the company she worked for...in order, again, to try to discredit her, rather than look at the seriousness of the possible blowback from his action of outing her in the first place.
So, is two times a pattern?
I really wish the man would just shut his mouth, but if he won't, it seems someone will need to take action to keep him from further compromising national security issues in order to cover his own behind, and those who gave up this CIA operative to him.

| 1. He might be exempt from criminal prosecution but I read yesterday |

where the Wilsons were planning civil litigation. I would be quite worried if I were Novak.

unless he is trying to show the world that the friends of the Bush administration can do anything they want--that they are above the law.
The same thing goes for the person who is leaking this information to Novak. It is as though this official in the Bush administration is saying that the Bush people are untouchable--even by the CIA.

blows my mind. First he invokes the 5th Amendment on his own show and then he in print he provides even more gory details this time from her W2 (how the hell did he get to see that) and outs the company she used for a cover? Way to go Bob.
When is CNN going to force him to resign before he destroys the entire CIA?

on her W-2? And why does CNN keep providing a forum for Novak? Why don't they give him a leave of absence or something? That guy from the CIA, Larry (I can't remember his last name) was on CNN earlier this evening and was all over the news chick about them letting Novak just come on whenever and talk and talk and talk. She said that whe wasn't sure CNN had done all that. And he said, you keep giving him a forum for all this.

| 6. I actually feel sorry for Novak. |
|
The front company was pretty much outed at the same time as Valerie Plame's name.
Probably every country concerned about her ran her name everywhere they could.
Novak, though, brought it out into the open and the CIA is smashing him with it.
Novak has forgotten rule #1: Do not mess with the CIA.
He might as well give up his names because his career is over.

Section d takes precedence or if both have to be proven. If it is either one then Novak is in deep trouble as he has definitely violated Section d, imo.

I'll have to go back and look up the act because I don't remember what those sections are about, although I assume one of them is about the journalist issue.

|
to force Novakula to SHUT THE FUCK UP!
CNN is setting itself up for a major lawsuit because they continue to let this clown keep talking. What's up with that? I don't understand why CNN would allow this in order to protect him. Bizarro World:crazy:
