| "Admin should be able to appoint people who agree with agenda" |
|
Hmmm... I guess so, sure.
-- BUT --
What does it say about the administration's agenda and policies when they can find no qualified people that agree with it?

| 1. there they go just saying stupid shit again |
|
the answer is "WRONG"
the administration must appoint qualified candidates. Of course this administration didn't do so well in school, so it's not surprising that they get most of the answers wrong most of the time.

Would they be saying this if it was Kerry, Gore or Clinton? Of course not! The same should apply to them.

| 7. Just trying to turn those talking points around |
|
If this administration is practicing "compassionate conservatism" and only wish to better our nation then they should be looking for the best qualified individuals to appoint.
If the administration has followed its own talking points it has appointed people who only agree with the administration's agenda and policies.
Thus, the American people must now see that no qualified individuals (i.e., people of learning and intelligence) exist that agree with the administration's agenda and policies.

| 3. That should be competent people who agree with agenda! |
|
But the agenda should also be in line with the principles of Democracy and what the founding fathers had in mind for America. Just because he is president doesn't mean he gets to totally change the philosophy of America.

| 5. Not when their agenda is contrary to the will and interests of the people |
|
Don't forget, even though there are only 45 Democrat Senators and 54 Republican ones, the constituency of the Democratic Senators is 161 million, and that of the Republicans 131 million. This is not a representative government, and anyone with a modicum of ethics would not govern as these people are doing.

What is says is that their agenda and policies are largely at odds with most or all of the experts (the qualified people) in any given field.

| 10. Exactly. There are only 15 or so neocons. So to fill positions they |
|
will have to look long and hard for people whose views can easily be changed if the right $$ & job are offered.
And then you end up with 25 FEMAS.
And the Rove WH thinks it is good.
