If you look at the front page, there's a gap in new posts between 12:12 and 12:33, and that's when the problem was.

First the site wouldn't load at all. Then the front page loaded but I couldn't get into the discussion boards. Then I could get to the boards but not pull up any threads. Now things seem okay -- maybe just a little slow.

I just spoke to the folks who run the server. The server has not been down at all. It was a little slow last night mainly due to lots of Cali Recall traffic. That happens when a big event is going on. If FR or Limbaugh fanatics are trying to overload DU, they aren't succeeding.
