... I've began paying attention to how much or how little folks show their ages in their faces.

She's well within the normal range IMHO, lots of people look better at 60, and lots look worse. It is very possible she was a smoker, which definitely adds many years to your appearance, especially as you get older.

Fact is a lot of people do not age well. I have been floored many times when I find out that someone I thought was 45 is really 32 and so on. This woman has not aged well and needs makeup lessons but that is the least of our worries.

You would never call her a beauty queen, but the picture did make me stop and think about what the heck happened to her these past 20 years.

She is one year younger than my mother and you would never know it.
