to scandal. In '06, they will largely be swept away on a tide of voter rage. If Bush isn't gone before then (and I think he will be) he will be toast after the election.

If the whole truth comes out and they don't go against Bush they could still lose moderates and indie's who might've voted for them. I think next year will be great for democrats. Then we can take back the House and Senate and ban the voting machine's and we can take back the presidency hopefully in 2008.

the impeachment should begin the next day. You can't have a vice president, his top aide and the president's number one political adviser involved in a conspiracy without the president being involved too. Furthermore a president in that much trouble needs to be dealt with right away to limit the effect it will have on the country as a whole. The country can't focus on a war and rebuilding the gulf coast with this kind of trouble hanging over an already overwhelmed and obviously incompetent president.
