3. I've been noticing something very fun lately...

All of my old hip-hop and punk CDs are fast becoming quite a potent view of our current political landscape. Consolidated, the SF politically correct beat band, has an album called "Friendly Facism" where they slam George Bush Sr, but could just as aptly be applied to the son.

I was listening to Circle Jerks "Group Sex" and the song "Paid Vacation" came on and I couldn't believe how relevant it was to today.

How crazy is that? There's also some good MDC songs that talk about Reagan and his cronies, but you can just substitute the name George for Reagan, and it's an instant protest song for 2003 or 2004

There's a song by Bongwater that also takes the piss out of Reagan that I relistened to recently and does the same thing.
