resignation...
Is it just me, or were they being way too kind to him? I would have expected a little more distancing from the indicted one in the language. I am something of a politics neophyte, so maybe I'm just being naive. I couldn't help thinking that they were being publicly supportive because they're afraid Libby's going to turn on them.

He can take a plea, avoiding the facts to come out in a trial. Then shrubco give him a pardon. His political career will be over, but I'm sure he will be a well paid CEO somewhere.

The "Scooter Libby has dedicated his life to public service" tripe made me want to gag.
They all really need to drop the public servant pretense, no one is buying it anymore. They are nothing but criminal parasites and welfare queens.
