NYers know who I am talking about. She's some hag that does public interest stories like Man bites dog, Librarians like it hard, and is covering the strike. She is in front of the picketers asking them how they feel and what they have to say to the people. Then she goes across the street and asks drivers what they think. She obviously wants them to tell the picketers to fuck off, but they don't. Drivers are supporting the strike. They say stuff like "they have to do what they have to do" and "I understand." NYers want other NYers to get their due and that's great. But this all is upsetting poor Penny.

Then, the Fox talking heads ask someone (a cop?) if the terrorists are watching the strike. I have to ask, are the terrorists watching Bush?

Seriously. She takes all the early-morning-freezing-cold-in-Queens "human interest" stories, the local charity basketball games, the wacky stunts, etc., not afraid to look less than glam or even without any make-up.
So now she's assigned this unpleasant story, again, outside. She's not really shilling so much as trying to get a viewer-interest story going.
