The same 30-35% of contrarians who always "vote" against their own best interests will weigh in, and the other 65-70% of normal people will weigh in.. It's been this way since the clinton impeachment.. It's the SAME people..
They are a LOUD minority and somehow have convinced the media that what they have to say, somehow is a MAJORITY opinion..

Outing Plame was way dangerous...
Edited to say... Outing more Bush lies is only dangerous to Bush. Nothing he has done has been in our best interest anyway so any secrets he keeps are lethal to world peace.

| 10. Plame was not "an intelligence program" |
|
Exposing the existence of program and outing a designated secret operative are 2 different things.
A direct example would be actually naming the subjects of an investigation program.

Outing Plame as a secret CIA agent outed every deal she was working on in the same fell swoop, and told every contact that didn't know she was CIA that she was an agent. That put every deal she was involved with on the front page to many who should not know. We may never know how deeply this hurt us. When she was named, so were her deals.

Maybe I wasn't clear.
I just meant to say that exposing a program that spies on American citizens is far less damaging than the Plame affair was.

| 26. But that isn't how the poll question was worded |
|
It just said "intelligence"... that's a big bunch of different things... spying on Americans and outing intelligence operatives could fall under the same deal... pretty broad.

which is what this admin did. The operative word missing here is "ILLEGAL".
I can't vote because I'd have to say yes. If the word illegal was there, I would say no.

| 9. Nice loading of a question, MSNBC. |
|
I think that disclosing Valerie Plame's program to the media by people with top security clearance in an attempt to sabotage a critical surveillance operation aides the enemy, and therefore Bush should be impeached and imprisoned. But I don't believe that a news source who reports that the president of the US is flagrantly and inexplicably breaking the law and violating the spirit of the Constitution is aiding the enemy. In fact, I think it is revealing who the enemy really is.

I believe that disclosing the name of a CIA agent, to the media is illegal. And I also believe that the ever-growing government scandals, featuring a plethora of people who repeatedly break the law, and have zero regard for our constitution, are a grave threat to our national security. I also believe that any news program, whose soul intent is to provide propaganda, is a serious threat to our national security.

as the usual suspect pigs attempt to issue-shift. Yesterday, do you think domestic spying is illegal. Today, do you think it's illegal to reveal domestic spying. We expected this sort of thing, let's keep the focus where it needs to be.
