For anyone who argues that the wire-tapping will help keep us safe and prevent another 9/11, just kindly remind them of what happened on September 10, 2001:
The National Security Agency intercepted communication between Al-Qaeda operatives that said "tomorrow is zero hour" and "the match begins tomorrow."
However, the failed to TRANSLATE those conversations until the day AFTER 9/11.
Why was no one from the NSA ever called onto the carpet for the failure to do a same-day translation of that intercepted communication?
What's the point of intercepting the communication, if you don't act on it in a timely fashion?
