If only we knew what the Leader knows then we'd how how wise it is that their actions be kept secret.
Nonsense!
The secrets such leaders keep are secrets about how incompetent and criminal they are.
And the more able they are to keep their incompetence and criminality secret the more incompetent and criminal they become.
Such regimes are not strong.
They are not resilient.
They do not last a thousand years.
They have no future.
Were the Nazis really strong and efficient, or were they hopelessly compromised by their own incompetence?
Did the Soviet police state really make them strong, or did it make them a joke that collapsed under the weight of their own corruption?
Did their crimes against humanity keep them in power, or was that part of the reason they were driven from power?
So for those who say they don't mind having a police state with dictatorial powers, as long as it keeps us safe, ask them
"Why do you want us to be so weak?"
