DUers for Congress

As many of you know, we have several DUers running for political office in 2004. At last count, I came up with seven of us. (hint, hint - we need more to run!)

Next week, the three candidates running for federal offices will hold a joint fundraiser. Charlie Crystle is running to unseat Arlen Specter in the US Senate, while Vince Whitacre and myself are running to oust James Sensenbrenner and Ralph Regula in the US House.

Please consider donating a few dollars to your fellow DUers as we try to take back Congress. We have a long road ahead of us, and we need your help!

Like the $2000 limit for presidential campaigns?

2,000 dollars per election cycle. You can give 2 grand before the primary and again between primary and general election day.

....while we can't compete dollar-for-dollar with our opponents, we just need enough money to consistently get the message out.

America is a liberal country and it will stay that way as long as people are challenged to think about their true beliefs....we need to remind them there is an alternative every single day, and America will stay progressive.
