This says "organizers" are canceling but it looks like it's the candidates that aren't cooperating-
Democratic Debate Is Canceled in N.H.
WASHINGTON -- As one debate goes by the wayside, another takes its place.
Organizers announced Friday that they were canceling a Democratic presidential debate scheduled for Jan. 8 in New Hampshire. The reason? All the candidates will be in Iowa, preparing for the Jan. 19 caucuses.
NBC's "Meet the Press" host Tim Russert had been slated to moderate the event, which was to be broadcast on MSNBC and PBS affiliates.
At the same time, a new debate was added in Iowa on Jan. 6 -- to be broadcast on radio only. National Public Radio and WOI radio in Des Moines, Iowa, will sponsor the debate.
A radio debate among presidential candidates has not been held in years, said Susan Feeney, a senior editor at NPR.
The two-hour debate, which will be moderated by Neal Conan, host of NPR's "Talk of the Nation," program will be aired live during the afternoon and rebroadcast later in the evening on most NPR affiliate stations, Feeney said.
