| New talking point on WMD, Saddam doesn’t know where they are either! |
|
Edited on Thu Dec-18-03 10:28 PM by spotbird
As it turns out, according to Ollie “the criminal” North on Faux, Saddam may not have been a micromanager and just didn’t attend to details, man almighty what bad luck. Because of this it looks like Saddam had his (now dead) sons hide the weapons and didn’t happen to ask them where they were hidden before the war started. Oh, the details we forget to talk about when invasion is imminent! Now with the boys dead the WMD may be buried forever. Gosh gee, more bad luck! Who knew that Saddam wouldn’t have taken a moment to ask the kids where they hid the WMD?
Further surprising insight from Ollie is that the cash found at the scene was brand new American dollars! He said that those can be traced and could it be that our “allies” the French are the source of the cash. Of coarse the French gave Saddam the money, wow that proves they are the enemy.
Which is worse, that this is how the new lie will become truth or how easy it will be for them to convince the public of this nonsense?

:o they must have Tom Clancy AND Comical Ali trying to help them lie their wayout of this one.
Ineresting conspiracy theory from the right. I guess its down to good news that they are down using tinfoil hats to find some other plausible scenarion for this three year fiasco other than the fact they they are lying corrupt American Facists.
Saddam's capture was the final brush stroke where Bush looked up and realized that he had painted himself into the corner.

So Saddam was in imminent threat to the US because he had WMD (somewhere) that he could have used against us (assuming he had a delivery method that could reach the United States) or he could have sold to terrorists (assuming his sons could remember where they hid them).
Gee, I guess we just HAD to go to war.
I mean, come on.
If this were the case, and Saddam had WMD hidden from even him, then he must be even more incompetent than Smirk.

But still the correct answer is, there were no WMD. (but we knew that.)

Such a weapons program can't be known about and hidden by one man. There's a whole infrastructure involved. My god. Are people really that dumb? Oh, never mind...

We all know Uday and Qusay brewed up a few hundred gallons of anthrax, botulism, VX and mustard gas in their backwoods still, poured it into dozens of ICBM's they made out of duct tape and PVC piping, strapped them to their backs and buried them in the desert all by themselves. Hell, they even dug the holes with their bare hands. They had a hand-cranked nuclear centrifuge in their closet to make weapons-grade plutonium too. That clearly explains how Iraq had a dangerous WMD program without us finding any factories, scientists, or military generals who knew anything about it. <sarcasm>

And now neither do we...someone stole our plant. That's why we are so adamat about finding WMDs. We were double-crossed! Think about it. Why else would we be so insistent in the face of all the information released against Iraq having WMDs? It's because we know they were supposed to be planted there (special ops in Iraq 18 months before the invasion)but we can't find them because they beat us at our own game.
What a movie plot!

...Rummy or Brown & Root or some other US entity was the source!
Ollie doesn't exactly say whether his factoid refers to "brand new" (because they've never been used, having sat in a vault for years), or actual new bills (recently printed).
But then, this is Ollie, to whom mere facts are potted plants.

through France.
Really, you may be onto something. This story is obviously being circulated to deflect interest from where the cash really came from, and your guess as to the original source is likely close to the mark. Once it is determined that the Treasury Department sent that cash to France will anyone believe that the French government didn’t just FedEx the money directly to Saddam? So what if the French say the cash was not given to Saddam but to some American actor, who (besides us) in America would believe it?

They just spout off and pretty much assume what they say will be taken at face value, which Ollie & his fans will. By the time skeptics like us have tracked it down and debunked it, it'll be firmply imprinted and they won't care that it's false.
