First candidate to raise $1 million online: 2000, Bill Bradley, Democratic candidate for president. First candidate to collect $500,000 online in one day: 2000, Sen. John McCain, Arizona, Republican candidate for president.
‚First party to have 1 million activists online: 2000, Republican Party.

I think its important to mention that last years election results could bear less important that some think because of the anti-gore sentiment that existed. I liked gore alot but alot of folks i spoke to voted for Bush because Gore left a bad taste in their mouth. Those people are up for grabs again. Also, Florida could be a big problem for Bush considering that crappy Medicare Bill he passed that actually took benifets away from seniors.
