Addams all the way--my childhood role model was Morticia (both the "New Yorker" version and Carolyn Jones.

Awesome stuff!
Some of it hasn't dated well, but a lot of it is still wonderfully weird.
There was one scene where the child protection agency came over and the Addams fed them dinner. Heh. Their reaction to Morticia saying that the dish was "eye of tadpole" had me ROTFLMAO... :D
That show should be released on DVD. Not by columbia/tristar though, they have no respect for tv shows. (and the restoration work done on the Addams master videotapes is very impressive. We don't want a shoddy DVD transfer for such a great series!)

I voted Musters. Jack Pierces' makeup, generally funny scripts, took nice little stabs at the Donna Reed-Leave it to Beaver sitcom model. Plus, Al Lewis.
While I have much love for Gomez and Morticia and kin, the Musters will always be my favorite.

...but if you are going to have a show about a monstrous family doesn't it help if they are monsters? By the way I am having an incredible deja vu moment about this poll.

TVLand is running the Munsters right now. It's time slot keeps getting shifted around, but today it's on at 7:30pm central time.
