He is a good thing, or he is a bad thing?

Is he painting like he sees… my goodness!

In my country we have a saying, “ a goat can be king, but he better watch out for his p’s and his q’s or he will end up in the stew.”

I think, perhaps, Mr. Currin was stewed when he painted?
