| Have you ever been confusing to a member of the opposite sex? |

I know for a fact that many of the girls I dated in high school were confused as to why I was so polite and never got overly fresh with them.

On the other hand, they have certainly confused the heck out of me at times as well.

| 5. I love it when someone (usually a woman) says be nice to your wife |

on Mother's Day.
I'm as gay as a goose. And, neither my partner nor I have any children!

| 6. Twenty years ago, when I lived in a small, rural town, the cashier |
|
at a small country store set her sights on me. I knew I was gay, but was heavily closeted. I was the right age (28-30), she knew I was single, and I had a decent job. So she started flirting. I dodged, weaved, hemmed and hawwed, did everything possible to avoid her. However, I had credit at the store and had to shop there.
She was a real country girl, like G.I. Lynndie England. She liked to smoke and drink and go to redneck bars and get into fights. She scared the living shit out of me.
Finally, one day, while checking me out, she broke down and started bawling and asked "Why don't you like me"....I have no idea what I said, but that was the last time I ever entered that store.
And, no, I'm not stalking you! You just start all the best threads and I'm bored right now. My better half is exhausted and went to sleep as soon as he got home!

utterly baffling to the opposite sex, but it didn't seem as though they minded being baffled much.
