| The freeper and the vasectomy |
|
Funny story on the radio this morning.
Some idiot (had to be a freeper, he's that stupid) went to the doctor's office with a bad earache. He's in the waiting room, the nurse calls out a name, he thinks it's his. He's wrong. Shortly thereafter he leaves the doctor's with a vasectomy. He didn't ask any questions during the preparation for the operation because he thought his groin might be causing his ear to hurt.

| 4. is it really that stupid? |

genital infections (STD's) are known to be capable of causing blindness, madness, arthritis, and other general symptoms. maybe it's not so far out of line to think they could cause ear problems too.
cmon, it's certainly no stupider than believing that tax cuts for the rich will cure the deficit.
or believing that generals (movie stars) would know best how to run a country (state).
or "deregulating" everything in sight, in the belief that the "invisible hand" of the marketplace will keep companies honest.
if you're looking for hilarious stupidity, you don't have to look as far as brazil!

...and it DIDN'T go well (the local didn't take -- I'll spare the details) All I can say is I find this story highly dubious. I doubt there are any men out there who will sit still while a doctor takes a scalpel to the boys unless the man knows and approves, and has had some time to work up the courage.
But to let someone start cutting by mistake? Sorry, we're too protective of our little friends.

| 7. Reminds me of an old joke: |
|
After having their eleventh child, a freeper couple decides that’s enough. So the husband goes to his doctor and tells him that he and his wife didn’t want to have any more children.
The doctor says, “You’re in luck! There’s a new natural procedure that can fix the problem.” The doctor instructs him to go home, get a cherry bomb, light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the can up to his ear and count to ten.
Figuring that a learned physician couldn’t be wrong the guy goes home, lights a cherry bomb, and puts it in a beer can. He holds the can up to his ear and begins to count, “1, 2, 3, 4, 5...”
He pauses, places the beer can between his legs, and resumes counting on his other hand.
