Because Calgary and Vancouver have played each other in the first round four times in history...every time..the winner of that series has gone on to the final
1982-Vancouver
1989- Calgary
1994- Vancouver
2004- Calgary
As well the only time either team has been there is after playing each other in the first round... wierd eh?
