I stole a bag of chips from the corner store when I was 12 years old. My first and only taste of crime, I felt so bad after doing it, I couldn't eat the chips. (15 cent bag) back in the 70's

when I was 7 or 8, I was with mother at the grocery store, and you know how people taste a grape to see how they are...?
Well, I decided to mimic what I saw, only after eating the grape, my mother informed me I took a plum!

| 5. I used to be a greedy marble player when a kid |
|
I wanted ALL the marbles..turned me off of gambleing I have, as an adult shared a $1.00 bet on the dogs in Fla. And bet a SURE thing at Belmont...the owner had 3 horses in the race so I bet $2.00 to win/place/show...gave me 9 ways to win. I think I won $10.00 on my $2.00.
Turned me off greed also. I realized that no how many I won, I never felt satisfied. I wanted ALL the marbles just to show everyone I was the BIGGEST marble gambler there was. It left me with many many many bad feelings. I am glad I learned early!

who swore she did it all of the time with no hassles, I tried to shoplift a pair of earrings from a department store at about age 13. Needless to say, we got caught by the store security guard, stuck in a little room and berated severely. There were A LOT of tears. He took pity on us and didn't call our parents.
Figures the first and only time I tried something like that I would get caught. I definitely learned my lesson and never did it again.

I was about 13 when I got caught shoplifting with a friend. They called our parents, but because my mom was out of town they had to call the women who was staying with my sibs & I. She was my mom's coworker. I was never sure if my mom was more pissed becase I shoplifted or because her cowork knew.

when I was 12 or 13 with a friend in an underground parking lot. They held us and called the cops but we begged our way out due to the fact the granny who had snagged us had a son in jail. She waived the cops away when they came and let us run.
Lucky grass is now pretty well LEGAL in British Columbia.
Imagine that?

mostly as an accomplice - in my teenge years before I joined the Navy. - I quit shoplifting after I turned 13 - but I did lots of non work related surfing at my previous job.. I am sure there is still karma yet to be reckoned with. I got busted for weed once - that was not much fun.

While in Catholic school no less. It was after the 1972 elections and I wanted McGovern to win sooo bad. Well, imagine my disappointment when he lost. I became an anarchist from that moment on and never looked back.

BTW, it was a tradition in our town to have a kid steal their first issue of Mad magazine. After that they could buy it.
