I know why diets do not work

Because of a medical procedure I've having done I cannot eat today. Normally, I wake up and go about my business and don't think about food until my stomach growls.

This morning, knowing that I could not eat, I awoke dreaming about food and with my eyes barely open I was experiencing the most intense food cravings I've had since I was pregnant.

I'll be glad when this is over!

When I had a prolonged bout of Montezuma's Revenge recently, my eyes were glued to the Food Network. I essentially tortured myself with all the wonderful things I could not eat.
