Best Robin Williams movie?

Poll question: Best Robin Williams movie?

Lately I haven't been much impressed with the man because he's been getting type-casted, but when I really thought about it I realized that this guy has been in a whole lot of really, really good movies.

Here's a partial list. What's your favorite (or choose your own, of course)?

8. I liked "Popeye". And I'm probably the only one.

But it was a role Robin Williams was born to play. It was a charming movie. Well cast (Shelly Duvall as Olive Oyl and Paul Dooley as Wimpie were particularly good). It's one of my favorite Robert Altman movies, actually. And a great score, as well.

that we laughed a lot while we watched "Popeye" (not saying why we laughed, but we laughed like crazy).

Robin Williams and Shelley Duvall WERE born to play those roles. I just wish...well, I wish...

"Popeye" is just a nice movie. I laughed a lot, also. Bill Irwin was in "Popeye" as well. Another favorite performer.

Another tear-jerker. The ending is just about the best I've ever seen. Such character development. Makes me cry every time.

he was hysterical, bordering on kenneth mars performance in the producers.

bad films do not mean great scenes do not occur, and the scene in smoochie with williams leaving the court room shouting that he's now about as popular as oj simpson split my gut.

... was an extraordinary performance and didn't receive the recognition it deserved. I think the "ride along limp" viewers missed the subtlety.

I just saw it recently for the first time and am dying to see it again. He was brilliant as that creepy photo guy.

22. (SPOILER) What I found fascinating ...

... was the nuanced portrayal of a man who was abused as a child, who overcame that and yet was able to pose a lesson... to the audience. I thought the ability to entrap an audience in their own preconceptions and biases was very noteworthy.
