She was planning a year long or more tour. Hell, she even played my home town of Bakersfield!

| 4. You mean the botox artist formerly known as Cher? |
|
Don't get me wrong, I like her. I like her moxie, her movies, okay, not her music, but I like her. I think she would be a gorgeous 60 something if she looked like the person I remember from the early 70s. But Jesus H. Christ!

they were blown away by the performance. I asked them as I typed this and they are still grinning. I'd buy tickets if I were you.

It was a lot of fun. I'm not a particularly big Cher fan but she put on a decent show.

"Oh, my Cher" ... Yes, go. I saw her a week ago here in Des Moines and last October in Ames. The show is just as much theater as it is concert.
To answer your question, yes, it is worth it. I have seen it twice and I would go again. Plus, if you are lucky, you will have Cyndi Lauper as an opening act. Hearing her sing True Colors was amazing. She tells the story of her sister coming out before she sings it.
A definite must see all around.

I don't care for her kind of music but I was a VIP at the Venetian's grand opening where Cher played her first concert in 7 years, and it was a good show. It was about fashion and the play of light. Not really about music to my ear. It lasted about an hour. She can't do a long show because she has chronic fatigue/Epson Barr or at least she did then, but she was extremely energetic while the show lasted. It was quite an emotional experience because of the "comeback" element and I really think everyone was in tears at the end. Don't expect her to sing that "believe" song, a machine does that, but you probably already know that!
If you watched the old Sonny and Cher TV show back in the day or have other nostalgia for the period, you should have a great time. I did and I'm not a fan. Enjoy!
Certainly if you have a free ticket, as I did, GO. You will be pleasantly surprised. I know that I was!
I have learned that, as a basic rule of thumb, even performers who I think to be without merit...in person they have often a charisma or an energy and it is worth seeing them in person before making the final opinion about them.
