| How long is your commute to work? |
|
I mean from your home to work - not combined to work and back home. I have no commute because I do work at home for now.
You can use miles or minutes/hours - your choice.

| 5. This is now my favorite question!!!!! |
|
Thursday was my last day at work at my old office. I start at my new office (transfer within the company) on Tuesday. My commute is going from 52 miles each way (about an hour and 15 minutes IF there is no major traffic problem) to 15 miles each way (about 17 minutes, with little chance of major traffic problems!)!!!
WHOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

15 minute drive in the morning, 20 minute drive home in the afternoon, when I decide to take a train in in the morning, about an hour, then I usually walk home that same afternoon, a little under 2 hours.....

Sometimes I work at home. Sometimes I drive. Sometimes I fly to a customer location. If that location is on the other coast, it's a 5 hours flight plus ground time.
Overall, I don't put that many miles on my car. I do have enough frequent flyer miles for some domestic trips (if I could only bring myself to fly United..)

About 11 minutes walking or 5 minutes driving through town. I live right above downtown and my office in Chattanooga.

If there were bike lanes, and I thought it would be safe, I'd bike ... but people around here are crazy as hell, they throw stuff at bikers and don't honor crosswalks, so I drive. Takes around ten minutes, mostly it's 35 mph surface streets.
