is there a 10-second delay on this site?

Each time I click on a message here, I get a 10-second delay before the message comes up. This doesn't happen anywhere else but DU. As an IT person, one thing we used to do to thwart traffic to a webserver when it was overloaded and we couldn't get a new one or reconfigure immediately, was to institute a few seconds' delay on the server before it would respond to any request. Not the best way to deal with an overloaded server but it is done sometimes as a workaround/stopgap measure until a permenant remedy can be put in place.

I've noticed that Mozilla loads DU pages faster than Explorer.
