My sister Sue lives in San Leandro, and tomorrow we'll go with her family to San Francisco for Father's Day dinner at my sister's stepdaughter's home. After spending Monday shopping, getting pedicures, etc. in the East Bay (as well as picking up tickets for Fahrenheit 9/11), on Tuesday we'll drive up to Bend, Oregon. Sue would love to move up there someday, and she wants to look at houses there (for the second or third time; I've lost count!) We'll stay at a bed and breakfast there and enjoy sightseeing, etc. Then we'll return to the Bay Area on riday. Friday evening we'll see the movie, then shop and hang out the rest of the weekend. I'm coming back to Pittsburgh on Monday night.
Should be FUN!!!!!!! After a hard slog through my second year of law school and starting a new job, I am in serious need of a break.

I lived in Bend for a number of years. I really love that area. You'll have plenty of beautiful places to visit very close by. Have a great time!
