Why, God, why? - Sports fan parents name son "ESPN"
And they want to name another son FOX SPORTS and their daughter DISNEY!

"ESPN Malachi McCall, who turns 3 on Aug. 10, is the youngest of three children in the world known to be named ESPN. The national sports network plans on creating a two-hour special about these children for its 25th anniversary.
...
However, Michael and Rebecca said they don't think the name will put pressure on him to become a superstar athlete; they're just catering to his interests at the moment."

I just can't believe they think they're catering to "HIS interests" when they're the ones who tagged him with the name of a sports channel. :eyes:

Because we (collectively) don't deserve to be free.

12. Maybe Max Barry wasn't that far off.
I recently read a book by him, Jennifer Government. It's a Libertarian dystopia where people change their last name to the name of the corporation they work for. Children take the last name of the corporation that owns and runs the school they attend, with names like "Tiffany McDonalds".
