How long does it take to get a star?

I donated sometime last week (thursday if I remember correctly). I think I read that if after one or two days a star doesn't appear by one's name to send a message to one of the administrators.

I know it has been a hectic time around here so I probably should give a few more days before sending a message right? Just wondering..

If you sent a check, obviously it will take longer.

If you donated by CC or Paypal, I'd think you should have your star by now.
