Poll question: Watching for new members
Do you watch to see how many new members are joining? What their monikers are? Are you suspicious when you see names that appear freepish--like "rushman" (I made that up--not any specific DU member)?

being new doesn't mean one is stupid or here for devious reasons.
New means a lot of different things to different people.

I wasn't insinuating that new posters are unwelcomed. Every new member boosts the count toward 30,000!

4. Everyone thinks I'm new...
But I had over 300 posts before...and I post about three times a week. Somehow, my account got lost when DU2 went online, but the efficent masters of this site were able to revive my name, but not my post count :(
