| I bought a Beanie Baby today, a donkey called "Lefty" |
|
I know it's totally cheesy and I don't normally buy Beanie Babies, but I was in Hallmark and saw this: http://www.beanietown-usa.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=B&Product_Code=11lefty2004&Category_Code=Bland couldn't resist. It is sitting proudly on our coffee table and we have declared it to be good luck for Kerry. Is that something a bush supporter would do? I am concerned about myself.

| 2. They did make an elephant called Rightie |
|
my niece had both of them (back during the height of the Beanie Baby craze). Unfortunately, one of the dogs took a liking to Rightie and he was destroyed in a fierce game of tug of war between the dog and my niece.
I always really liked that dog.

Yeah, I looked at "Rightie" with disdain and didn't touch it. Hee hee. Nothing like taking political discourse to new levels, eh?
I like that dog, too. Good taste.

I take her to the mall about once a week, and she buys a new one.
And yes, we have 'Lefty'.

I bought it for my son, and he set it on our mantle, where it proudly sits now. I thought it was so cute. There is also an Elephant, Righty. Even though it symbolizes Republican, I want that one too, because I love elephants, and it is cute. I always thought that the elephant was the wrong symbol for the Republican party. It is so unfair to the elephants.

My husband gave me a funny look when I wanted to buy it, so I put it back. He thought I was going over to the dark side...

| 11. OMG! My Girlfriend bought "Lefty" today,. too! |
|
We were at the flea market, and she started looking for any kind of plush donkey.
Good ol' boy w/a pick-em-up full of beanies told her about Lefty and Righty. Few minutes later, she found a pair...
"You should have bought Righty, too...'
"What the fuck for???"
"To stick PINS into, like a Voodoo doll!"
"You're SICK..."
