I HATE packing!

Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving for Florida for a week.

I can deal with the long hours in the car (21 hours)and I am even prepared for dealing with the Darwin Award Nominees that I'll encounter along the way.....but

I HATE PACKING.......

My wife is the ultimate organization freak (she's an accountant by trade AND temperment) so this can't be a throw-it-in-a-bag-and-run effort. Her system is very precise and cannot be altered in any way. It takes a half a day to pack for a 8 day trip.

screwing off on DU is much more fun.

1. Ahhhh...relax, have a cup of coffee. Then do what I do, run around

like a crazy man (in my case woman) the hour before you leave with a list. I once forgot to pack makeup for my brother and sister in law's wedding in CA. Boy was that liberating. I couldn't bring myself to pay the prices they charge for makeup in L.A. so I went without. All you need are underwear and toothpaste. :hi:

I once left for a three-day trade show and stopped by the office to pick up a company car. Got into one of the patented arguments with customer service (CS vs Sales is a classic battle) and drove off leaving my suitcase in my personal car.......didn't discover it until I checked into the hotel....had to improvise BIG TIME!
