Streptocide

Has anybody else tried this Russian strep throat remedy. Seems to work better than any American medicines. It's basically a caplet that you crush up into a cocaine type powder, mix with some water on a spoon, and drink. It goes right on the soar throat and kills the pain almost instantly, very bitter taste but very effective as well. Any side effects I should worry about???

1. No no no, you have to put mustard in your boot. That's the Russian way.

FYI SULFANILAMIDE is the scientific name for Streptocide and is not related to to cocaine. It belongs to the sulfa drug group which are
antibacterials.

I had a very sore throat and I got a prescription for a gargle that was very effective I'd try that route.
