| Poll question: Seinfeld vs Beavis and Butthead |
|
Which on of these television shows captured the zeitgeist of 90's American culture the best?
Was it Seinfeld? A show about 4 characters with little to really care about besides the most trivial of matters, and living in relative prosperity.
Or is it Beavis and Butthead? A show about two teenagers who base their lives on what they are told is cool, consume what they are told to consume, and have little or no interest in the outside world beyond what concerns them.

| 2. Seinfeld is, in my opinion, the best sitcom of my generation. |

I'm 35 by the way. Also, if we're talking culture, look at all of the seinfeld phrases that entered our conversations. Beavis and Butthead contributed a few but that number is minute compared to the Seinfeld catchphrases.
