| 70's singers or groups that had you laughing your ass off |

What 70's groups or singers simply crack you up today, because they wrote such asinine "profound" songs, (Horse With No Name by America) or had the wildest outfits like Elton John, or simply were hilarious because the old fogies like Bob Hope would have them on their shows, even though they didn't get the joke behind a group, like The Village People.

The first time I saw or heard of Meatloaf was when he appeared on SNL. I was a little looped (and by a little I mean a lot). So they come back from commercial and introduce this big, sweaty, long-haired guy called "Meatloaf" - singing some heartfelt song with crappy lyrics. Did I mention that he was really, really sweaty?
I laughed my ass off. Haven't been able to sit down since.

| 3. Yes! And there were so many people who took him seriously. |

I thought I was the only one who noticed his music was crap.
