Tarpon Springs is a bit north of here but if they're near water I bet they had to evacuate. Is Tarpon Springs still Pinellas ?

Figured my cousin's place was evacuated -- it's on Bayshore or Bayview (somthing like that) -- but she is safely out of harm's way. Her kids and grandkids might be leaving, though.

Hope friend in Largo is okay. She lived on Clearwater Beach during Elena (was evacuated) and the buildings on either side of her were badly damaged. Her building escaped.

...when the wind is blowing 110 MPH. That is what you may have to do Friday afternoon if you disobey the evac orders. Mother Nature is a bitch and if you try to ride out a Cat III hurricane in a flood zone you are liable to find out what I am talking about.
