Anyone else taking advantage of TIVO rebate this month?

Actually I think it lasts until the end of Sept. I think we're going to go for it. With my weird ass hours (3am-Noon) it will make it easier to keep up with some shows etc. Recording on VCR's is such a hassle. I was talking to one guy at work about which one to buy and he said if you buy anything more then the 40hr TIVO, you're watching waaaaaaay too much tv.
So anyone else making the swtich?
Those that have it, is worth it?

What kind of rebate is it? Would it be better than the Dish Network DVR Receiver i've been looking at for the living room?
