I prefer old Lisa myself. Not that she's old or anything. If she existed, that is. Which she doesn't. Of course.

Fenris, you are probably TOO young, judging by your picture. (which was very nice, BTW.) Although for some reason college- age men look very appealing to me these days. Esp. the beards. Shame on me.

I can't help it, I am one randy beast of late. We busy and overtaxed ladies need some amusements. Yup, too much time at the pool.
We'll all meet at a hotel in that alternative fantasy universe! :) Or in our next lifetime, perchance.

:) Actually older women and younger men (over 18 of course) are supposed to be compatible on some level, so.
I think she's a bit younger than me. I was a punk and then post-punk when it was first happening and actually saw most of those bands in the late seventies.

despite my edging way out of the hipster demographic... hell I'm just mature, dammit. And I have great musical taste. And, and... yup, I'm a mom. But I'm a punk mommy!
God what am I going on about.

You're all youngsters! I am in my uh, prime - mid 40s. Actually, I don't think age should be a barrier to love or lust or what have you. I love the story about Maggie Kuhn ( ? ) the head of the Gray Panthers, who had a variety of lovers ( one in his 20s, as I recall) when she was in her 60s or 70s. And there's always Harold and Maude. :)
So 20 and 30s sounds quite reasonable.

that is very cool. I always enjoy what you have to say. And you play the Mellotron! I don't think I know anyone else who does. Well, maybe the Cynics guys had one... I don't remember. I'm guessing someone in my altmusic past did.
That is what is so cool about this site - I have not met this many people who like the music I do for quite a while, since I had time to play in bands and go to clubs. It makes me feel very happy to find kindred spirits and has inspired me to want to play music again.
PS My best friend from college lives in Seattle. I have been there twice. It was great.

I live in Montlake, just south of the UW. :hi:
Actually, I don't personally play the mellotron, but I do play the harmonium, and I know several people who do play the mellotron.:D

there really aren't that many, if any , bad songs. If you look at the Attractions period, the Brodsky Quartet stuff, the Burt Bacharach stuff (well, I can't say I like that that much, but I admire his spunk),the return to the Attractions ( I love Doll Revolution, and all the bhangra), etc. And then the musical genre wives as well. ;) I do think marrying Diana Krall is very interesting. ( plus that woman from the Pogues - whatever happened to her?) And has he worked with Yo-Yo Ma and Bobby McFerrin yet?
He is a one man song-writing in any genre machine. And I am sure there is a lot that I have left out. That would make a cool discography by genre list. Did you see his list of great music to listen to in Vanity Fair a few years ago? Amazing.
BTW your city pix (was it Vancouver or Calgary, I forget) were really nice.
