| Ya Know What's Really Cool About The Olympic Coverage On TV? |
|
The superimposed (or overlay) flag images on the track lanes and the pool lanes. It's pretty impressive how the computer is able to overlay the images and keep them in the correct relative location when the camera is moving as well.
I also like how the "world record" line can be displayed so that the television audience has a visual comparison of how far ahead (or behind) the athlete is WHILE the race is still going on.
Very cool.

| 1. I particularly like the superimposed divers |
|
so we can compare two different divers, or two dives by the same person - very cool.

on the Daily Monday night, where the lies from the Swift Boat Liars were played over "The Scream."
Seriouly, I like all those Olympic graphics, and the "Coming Up in X# of Minutes" thingies, too.

and say a few words at the completion of women's beach volleyball. It was a rousing fun romp, not to mention swim suits that rocked.
