I hate small cars with loud mufflers.

Is it just me or does a small car say one that has 4 cylinders is loud? I mean the owner either has a bad muffler or a muffler that is 'supposed' to make it faster. Lets get real a cavalier with a loud muffler will not make it a corvette.
In fact with todays technology there is no good reason to have a loud muffler or engine.

Sorry just a dumb rant but hey we all have to vent now and then :)

You cannot get the full potential out of your big mods (turbo) with the stock breathers. The problem is that too many idiots think that the loudest, biggest, 4 inch fartcan stuck at the end of 1 inch tubes will give some kind of increase in horsepower (or at least fool enough people into thinking that they've actually got something under the hood). These people piss me off. They are the same assholes who think a 4 foot wing made by Boeing will somehow help their quarter mile times. So yes, 95% of the time it's just an idiot. Most times the person who's actually got something under the hood is trying to draw the least amount of attention to themselves.

6. What about

motorcycles? I live in a small town where the (chimp just visited) and at bar closing 2:00 am they take off from the bars and wake everyone up for blocks around and the cops do not do a thing about it ever. I know for a fact if a car was that loud and took off at bar closing they would not make it a block in this town. Are cops afraid of bikers? This question has bugged me for a long time.
